Ghoulfriend's Kitchen

Dear Ghoulfriend,
My house is being overrun by centipedes. You know, the big, hairy, multi-legged things that run really fast? I think the cooler weather is bringing them into the house and they freak me out!!! What can I do to keep them out?
-Creepy Crawler

Dear C.C.,
Consider yourself blessed, Creepy Crawler! Centipedes are wonderful, high-protein snacks when you're on the run. They're easy to catch, especially at this time of the year, and if you keep them in a ventilated container, they stay alive for days without care or feeding. They require absolutely no preparation; just eat them as they are, or cover them with Bosco! I don't recommend swallowing them whole, though - they tend to crawl back up your throat and dance around on your tongue (it's a rather unnerving and somewhat unpleasant sensation). I chew them thoroughly, though their little legs do tend to get stuck between my teeth. Be sure to have dental floss on hand when snacking on 'pedes. They're a lot like popcorn; it's impossible to eat just one. I stock up on bags of them when possible and munch on them while watching late-night movies.
Love,
Ghoulfriend
