Dear Ghoulfriend,
What does the Atkins craze mean with regard to my intake of protein? If I consume only Atkins-friendly victims, will my own intake of carbohydrates be diminished? I ask because I've noticed a curious lack of energy lately and believe that this dietary fad may be at the heart of the matter. Thanks for your advice.

Dear Lean & Green,
One can only benefit from eating those on the Atkins diet. We ghouls don't crave carbs the way mortal humans do and we're generally sleeker and more fit than they are. The fewer carbs you ingest through "the food", the healthier you'll be. Your lethargy concerns me because it cannot possibly be due to eating Ultra Protein Enhanced Atkins Meat™. Quite the contrary; dining on the Atkins crowd should make you feel more vigorous! I suspect you're not eating the right parts. I know it's tempting and easy to go for the arms first, but I learned from experience that limbs are just not as nutritious as organ meats. Sure, go ahead and take a few bites of arm, but then go straight for the liver. It's full of vitamins and nutrients, and if you're really lucky and bag yourself an alcoholic, you'll catch a little buzz, too! Hope that helps!
Love,
Ghoulfriend
